We wandered back to Le Bouscat to look at the market. This market is so close to our apartment it is brilliant. They close some of the streets and lay out stalls of vegetables, meats, fish, cheese, breads, wines and many other things. We also went to the park that was meant to be better than Jardin Public. It was a nice park, but it wasn’t better in my opinion, just different. Within this park they focus on preservation for creepy crawlies. There is a fenced off area and within the area there are bee hives. The sign made us laugh as it is a bee holding a sword!
The children’s park is sweet. Ashton enjoyed it for the time we stayed. He enjoyed the hedge maze; actually the three of us enjoyed that. There are many pretty flowers, archways and a small water fountain. Overall a lovely little place.
